With Xbox Game Pass for PC about to release in beta version, gamers decided to download the latest Xbox app on one of the many devices sitting in their lab to see how efficiently the app transposes the Xbox One OS to PC. They were quite unhappy with the results.
Downloading the latest Xbox application can be a big problem if you’re not previously a Windows Insider user. If you don’t know what that means, there is no need to worry. The design for the Game Pass check in the application is packed with random stubs for games that come in several forms, configurations, and sizes, making the display look awkward rather than pleasing. The stubs take up a lot of space, which is very clumsy. There are some games displayed for purchase or download which can be worth a shot though.
The gamer’s tour down the All Games Section in the Game Pass Tab wasn’t a pleasant experience. The games were not arranged according to the alphabetical order, and neither was there any way to change the existing, which was indeed frustrating for them.
The search function wasn’t very spontaneous, either. Instead, it is described as a type of auto-fill feature. It cannot detect incomplete or uneven words which poses a big problem. It is also alleged that it cannot identify upper-case alphabetical search queries. The most common results for almost everything the gamers typed were Everspace, Ark: Survival Evolved, ReCore and Rise of the Tomb Raider.
