Respawn Producer: Apex Legends isn’t ‘well suited’ for streaming services like Stadia

•

Google is facing a substantial lacking issue in its new streaming service for Gaming Downloads in services like Stadia.

The announcement by Google in March was that it will be streaming game service of 4K, 60fps gameplay. Anyone with Chrome Browser would be able to get hold of any game they want to. But here comes the catch. Drew McCoy, the producer of Respawn, says the studio is working hard to reduce any input lagging, but some problems are occurring. If you have slow internet or your access is not of high quality, then the download will face a bad lack.

McCoy also said they have been testing the system a lot over the last 5-6 years, but it does not seem well suited. Jarred, a part of their team had been using the method in March and has observed that fast-paced game will lack.

The producer said games like Apex Legend is not well suited for the service as it is not very big for the system to undertake, in a recent interview with Game Informer. They had already been going against the television manufactures and their image processing. It adds around eighty milliseconds of input pausing.

Though facing all these problems, the team is putting in enormous effort to fix the issues of input lag. The service is good enough to download games that do not need FPS streaming. The small team is trying whatever they can to make the streaming service better. The games will still be facing a lot of problems due to a poor internet connection and old wifi operators. Google will probably find a solution and make the services available to the public at the earliest.
